Our Integrated Learning Approach

Assess, learn, reinforce, support and validate

Cement Training Seminars

The Cement Institute's approach to training is this: Make the most advanced and up-to-date courses, materials, and instruction even more advanced by tailoring them to the specific learning styles, needs, and environments of the people and businesses who invest in them. Therefore, we combine industry-leading learning content to deliver that content that works for any work environment. And we accomplish that by getting to know the businesses we serve and tying our learning solutions to real business objectives.

TCI’s ability to expertly assess needs, improve skills, reinforce learning and track progress helps us deliver the highest training ROI.

ASSESS

Determine individual skills and business goals and then match the course content and learning method to your company’s goals. Make the most of your training investment by identifying knowledge gaps and focusing on the most relevant courses to fill those gaps.

REINFORCE

Even the world's best course content needs to be reinforced throughout the course session and long after the class is over. TCI integrates a wealth of learning resources into the training process to keep the learning fluid and increase retention.

SUPPORT

Learning aides go a long way to reinforce your training. Even Though TCI goes beyond that with resources that make our reinforcement tools more effective.

VALIDATE

Whether you're a student or corporate training manager, use the validation component of TCI's "Integrated Learning Approach" to track learning progress, identify areas that need improvement and weigh the business value of the skills you or your teams are learning.

LEARN

TCI learning methodology includes the design of instructional goals, materials, and activities and continuous tryout and evaluation of all instruction and learner activities.

  • Analysis – The Analysis phase involves understanding the industry problem, the program mandate, the learners, and the overall learning outcome(s).
  • Autonomous and self-directed – TCI courses are interactive, designed to involve participants in the learning process actively. Facilitating is preferable to teaching.
  • Experienced with accumulated knowledge – TCI seminars are designed to employ the participants’ accumulated knowledge and experience whenever it is relevant to the topic.
  • Goal-oriented – TCI seminars have clearly defined learning objectives, so the manager and individual participants can judge whether the course meets their goals.
  • Practical – The seminar Effectively analyzes plant data, resolves quantitative problems, and is applied to the development of the training, including case studies and work section. TCI’s instructors always explain how training will be useful to participants in their work.
